MICHELLE GAYLE TELLS ALL IN NEW BOOK

REJECTED Eurovision hopeful Michelle Gayle is to release a new book which she claims will blow the lid on the shocking goings-on in the music industry.
The former EastEnders actress and singer, who lost out to Andy Abraham as the UK’s entry in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, believes readers will be “shocked” when her novel Comeback hits the shelves.“It shows how some people in the music industry manipulate artists and the public,” insists Michelle, 37, who enjoyed seven UK top 30 singles in the 1990s. “You don’t have to make up outlandish stories as the real ones are much better.“I’ve seen artists protest because a Ford Galaxy has been sent to pick them up and they expect a Mercedes, refuse to fly unless it’s first class, check out of hotels because they don’t like the carpet, insist everyone calls them ‘Miss’ etc. If that’s their reality, they’re in trouble.”She adds: “There’s a whole side to how the industry works that I don’t think people understand. That’s why they get confused when they see Robbie Williams so unhappy or Britney Spears going nuts. I know exactly why it happens and how easily it happens.”Surely you’re not really comparing your own comparatively modest career to theirs, Michelle?
